Giants Claim LB Tuzar Skipper Off Waivers From Steelers

Field Yates reports that the Giants have claimed LB Tuzar Skipper off of waivers from the Steelers on Monday.

Skipper, 24, wound up going undrafted out of Toledo back in April. He later agreed to a three-year, $1.755 million contract with the Steelers and managed to make the 53-man roster coming out of the preseason.

However, Pittsburgh waived Skipper last week.

During his college career at Toledo, Skipper recorded 90 tackles, 9.5 sacks, three forced fumbles, two recoveries and a defensive touchdown over the course of three seasons and 24 games.
