Giants Expected To Be “Open For Business” Leading Up To Trade Deadline

According to Jason La Canfora, the Eli Apple trade by the Giants could be just the “tip of the iceberg.”

La Canfora reports that there’s a “strong perception” among other NFL teams that the Giants are “open for business” ahead of next week’s trade deadline and more moves could be coming.

The Giants are off to a disappointing 1-6 start to the season, so the odds of them turning things around and making a playoff push seem unlikely.

Beyond that, Giants GM Dave Gettleman has been working to reshape the roster since taking over and it wouldn’t be all that surprising to see him attempt to load up on trade picks in 2019 if the right deals are available.

We’ll have more regarding potential trades involving the Giants as the news is available.
