Giants Expected To Consider Saints DBs Coach Aaron Glenn For Defensive Coordinator Job

According to Paul Schwartz and Ryan Dunleavy of the New York Post, the Giants and new HC Joe Judge are expected to consider Saints DBs coach Aaron Glenn for their defensive coordinator job.

The Giants requested permission to interview current Dolphins DC Patrick Graham for their defensive coordinator vacancy and the expectation is that they will get a meeting with him.

Glenn has been connected to defensive coordinator openings the past few years. In fact, the Saints reportedly blocked him from interviewing for the Bengals’ defensive coordinator job last year.

Glenn, 47, is a former first-round pick of the Jets back in 1994. He played 15 seasons for the Jets, Texans, Cowboys, Jaguars and Saints.

Glenn began his NFL coaching career with the Browns back in 2014 as their assistant defensive backs coach. From there, the Saints hired him two years later as their defensive backs coach and he’s remained in New Orleans ever since.
