Giants Interviewing Marc Colombo For OL Coach Job

Jordan Raanan and Todd Archer of ESPN are reporting that the Giants will interview Marc Colombo for their offensive line coaching job this week.

Raanan notes that the Giants’ decision to hire Jason Garrett as offensive coordinator makes this as a “natural connection” with Colombo, who served as the Cowboys’ offensive line coach the past few years.

New York had been connected to Bill Callahan in recent weeks, but he has reportedly agreed to a deal with the Browns.

Colombo, 41, is a former first-round pick of the Bears back in 2002. He played 12 seasons in the NFL before taking his first coaching job with the Cowboys in 2016 as their assistant OL coach.

Dallas promoted Colombo to offensive line coach in 2018.

We’ll have more regarding the Giants as the news is available.
