Giants Place CB Aaron Ross On IR, Could Be A Release Candidate At Some Point

The New York Giants announced that CB Aaron Ross was placed on season-ending injured reserve with a back injury Saturday.

  • The team also announced that S Will Hill and CB Charles James were added to their active roster and G Dallas Reynolds was waived.

Ross, 31, was expected to miss a few weeks, so it’s interesting to see the Giants place him on injured reserve.

Mike Garafolo notes that Ross could be released with an injury settlement once healthy.

Ross is in the final year of his contract anyways, so it’s unlikely that we’ll see him back in a Giants uniform next season.
