Ian Rapoport and Tom Pelissero of NFL Media are reporting that the Giants are expected to start QB Daniel Jones on Sunday against the Ravens.
Jones is dealing with hamstring and ankle injuries, but has passed all the checkpoints this week, per Jordan Raanan.
Colt McCoy has filled in the games Jones has missed this season.
Jones, 23, was selected by the Giants with the No. 6 overall pick in the 2019 NFL Draft. He’s in the second year of his four-year, $25,664,056 rookie contract that included a $16,684,768 signing bonus.
The Giants will have a fifth-year option to pick up on Jones in 2022.
In 2020, Jones has appeared in 12 games and recorded 239 completions on 382 pass attempts (62.6 percent) for 2,462 yards, eight touchdowns, and nine interceptions. He also recorded 55 rushing attempts for 403 yards (7.3 YPC), one touchdown, seven fumbles, and four fumbles lost.
