Oakland Raider’s wide receiver Jacoby Ford suffered what’s believed to be an ankle injury during last night’s game.
Ford had caught two passes for 21 yards before he was forced to leave the game following a 10 yard completion that resulted in a twisted ankle. Ford limped off the field, but was later taken to the locker room, where he was seen walking on crutches.
Ford was just coming of a season in which he missed eight games because of a foot injury, so this is hardly the type of thing that you want to see at this point in the season. He has phenomenal speed, but dropped passes and injuries have really limited his effectiveness in the Raiders offense.
