The Jaguars were awarded FB Bradie Ewing off waivers from the Atlanta Falcons today, according to the NFL transactions release.
Ewing, a 2012 fifth-round pick, has battled injuries since breaking into the league. Ewing appeared in two games last season, catching two passes for 29 yards, before being placed on injured reserve with a separated shoulder.
Ewing, 24, missed his entire rookie season as well, after suffering a knee injury in the exhibition opener.
