Jaguars Officially Sign DE Chris Clemons

Update:

———–

Albert Breer reports that the Jaguars have have agreed to terms with former Seahawks DE Chris Clemons on a contract.

  • Breer adds that Clemons receives a four-year deal from the Jaguars.

The Jaguars still need help at defensive end now that Jason Babin has opted out of his contract. Clemons could be a value signing for the cap-rich Jaguars.

Clemons, 32, suffered a serious knee injury at the end of the 2012 season, but managed to return last year. He appeared in 14 games and produced 24 tackles, 4.5 sacks and a forced fumble.
