Jaguars Hire Jedd Fisch As OC & Bob Babich As DC

Ryan O’Halloran reports that the Jaguars have hired Chicago Bears LB coach Bob Babich to be their next defensive coordinator.

NFL insider Adam Schefter reports that the Jacksonville Jaguars have hired former college offensive coordinator Jedd Fisch for the same position.

New head coach Gus Bradley has decided to go with familiar faces for his coaching staff, having worked with Fisch in 2010 in Seattle when he was the team’s quarterback coach.  Fisch was also the offensive coordinator for the University of Miami. He returns to the league after a two year stint with “The U.”

In his nine years of experience in the NFL, Fisch is known for his intelligence, being a great mentor and communicator. He recently ran a very balanced offense while serving as OC for the Miami Hurricanes, although he could also turn aggressive in the passing game.
