Jaguars Hire Perry Fewell As Secondary Coach

The Jacksonville Jaguars announced Saturday that they’ve hired Perry Fewell as their new secondary coach.

Jacksonville continues to reshape their coachings staff under Tom Coughlin and Doug Marrone.

Fewell, 54, began his NFL coaching career with the Jaguars as their defensive backs coach back in 1998, so this is somewhat of a homecoming for him. He has worked for a number of teams including the Rams, Bears, Bills and Giants before he was hired by the Redskins as their defensive backs coach a few years ago.

Unfortunately, Washington fired Fewell along with defensive coordinator Joe Barry a few weeks ago.

It’s worth mentioning that Fewell worked under Coughlin while they were in New York several years ago.
