Jaguars Sign OL Brandon Thomas To PS, Release OL Michael Dunn

The Jacksonville Jaguars have signed OL Brandon Thomas to their practice squad and released OL Michael Dunn from the unit, per Phillip Heilman.

Here’s the Jaguars updated practice squad:

  1. CB Dee Delaney
  2. LB Nick DeLuca
  3. DL Lyndon Johnson
  4. WR Allen Lazard
  5. QB Tanner Lee
  6. OL K.C. McDermott
  7. S C.J. Reavis
  8. TE Pharoah McKever
  9. RB Bo Scarbrough
  10. OL Brandon Thomas

Thomas, 27, is a former third-round pick of the 49ers back in 2014. He spent just over two years in San Francisco before he was traded to the Lions in return for WR Jeremy Kerley.

However, Detroit elected to cut him loose less than a week later and signed him to their practice squad. Thomas returned to the Lions on a future/reserve contract but was, unfortunately, among their final roster cuts.

Thomas was on and off of the Jaguars’ practice squad last year before returning to the team on a futures contract this past January. Unfortunately, he was waived with an injury settlement during the preseason.

Thomas has yet to appear in an NFL game.
