The Jacksonville Jaguars announced Thursday that they’ve signed WR Tre McBride and DT Kalani Vakameilalo and waived LB Nick DeLuca and LS Christian Kuntz.
Both McBride and Vakameilalo tried out for the Jaguars during their minicamp this week and it appears as though they were impressive enough to earn offers from Jacksonville.
McBride, 26, is a former seventh-round pick of the Titans back in 2015. He spent over two years in Tennessee before he was waived at the start of the 2017 season and later claimed off of waivers by the Bears.
After brief stints with the Bears and Jets, McBride signed a futures contract with the Redskins this past January. Unfortunately, he was waived a few weeks ago.
In 2017, McBride appeared in eight games and caught eight passes for 144 yards receiving and no touchdowns.
