Jaguars Tried Out Eight Players Including WR Breshad Perriman

According to Howard Balzer, the Jacksonville Jaguars brought in eight free agents for workouts on Tuesday including WR Breshad Perriman.

The full list of tryouts for the Jaguars includes:

  1. RB Jamaal Charles
  2. RB Charcandrick West
  3. LS Jon Condo
  4. LS Matt Overton
  5. LS Zach Triner
  6. TE Pharoah McKever
  7. WR Breshad Perriman
  8. QB Josh Woodrum

Of this group, the Jaguars signed Charles to their active roster and McKever to their practice squad.

Perriman, 24, is a former first-round pick out of Central Florida by the Ravens in the 2015 NFL Draft. He is entering the final year of his four-year, $8.705 million rookie contract and was set to earn a base salary of $972,606 for the 2018 season when he was cut loose coming out of the preseason.

The Redskins signed Perriman to a contract last month only to cut him loose soon after.

In 2017, Perriman appeared in 11 games for the Ravens and recorded 10 receptions for 77 yards receiving and no touchdowns. Pro Football Focus had him as the last overall receiver out of 116 players.
