The Jacksonville Jaguars officially waived DT Roderick Young from injured reserve.
Young wound up signing on with the Jaguars as an undrafted free agent out of North Texas following this year’s draft. He agreed to a three-year, $1.755 million contract, but he was later waived with an injury designation.
After clearing waivers, Young reverted to the Jaguars’ injured reserve list.
During his college career at North Texas, Young recorded 132 tackles, 6.5 sacks, a fumble recovery and a pass defense over the course of four seasons and 48 games.
