Jaguars Waive FB Bradie Ewing

The Jacksonville Jaguars announced Tuesday that they’ve placed fullback Bradie Ewing on waivers, per John Oesher.

Ewing, 25, is a former fifth round pick of the Falcons back in 2012. He lasted just over two years with the team before he was waived and later claimed by the Jaguars.

He still had one year remaining on his four-year, $2.284 million rookie contract that included a base salary of $660,000 for the 2015 season.

According to OverTheCap.com, releasing Ewing will free up $660,000 in available cap space while creating no dead money.

Since entering the NFL back in 2012, Ewing has appeared in just two games.
