Ravens Insider Aaron Wilson reports that former Baltimore Ravens WR Derrick Mason has decided to join the New York Jets.
It was believed that Mason would re-sign with the Ravens considering that he has spent the last six seasons with the franchise and because Baltimore was reported to have offered more money. The Jets will most likely use Mason much the same way that they used Jerricho Cotchery last season.
Mason, 37, is coming off of what was a pretty disappointing season so he’ll have something to prove much the same way that LaDainian Tomlinson did last year.
