The New York Jets announced a series of roster moves on Saturday including activating WRย Quincy Enunwa from the reserve/suspended list.
- The Jets also placed RB Zac Stacy on season-ending injured reserve.
- They signed DEย Mike Catapano to the active roster and placedย S Ronald Martin on waivers.
Enunwa was suspendedย four games for violating the NFL Personal Conduct Policy close to a month ago.
Enunwa, 23, was taken in the sixth round of the 2014 NFL draft. However, he was unable to make the team’s 53-man roster coming out of the preseason during his rookie season. The Jets later signed him to their practice squad.
Enunwa managed to make the team this year and has appeared inย five games, catching eight passes for 94 yards receiving and no touchdowns.
Stacy, 24, came over in a trade with the Rams that sent aย seventh round pickย that ultimately becameย Bryce Hager to St. Louis.
He is in the third year of his four-year, $2.337 million rookie contractย thatย included a $176,500 signing bonus. Stacy will make base salaries of $585,000 and $675,000 over the remainder of the agreement.
Stacy’s 2015 season comes to an end with him appearing inย eight games and rushing for 89 yards on 31 carries (2.9 YPC) to go along with nine receptions for 65 yards receiving and one total touchdown.
