Jets CB Darrelle Revis Still Considering A Holdout?

New York Jets CB Darrelle Revis is still non-committal about joining the team for the start of training camp.

I’m here and I’ll be playing,” said Revis, via the New York Daily News. “I’m getting ready for this season; that’s all I can do. Anything with my contract, we’ll deal with that in the future.”

Revis is reportedly considering another holdout, now that a few players have surprised the contract he signed with a Jets a few years ago. New York gave him a  four-year deal worth $46 million which includes a staggering $32.5 million guaranteed.

Since then, players like Nnamdi Asomugha and Cortland Finnegan have since surpassed that total, despite the fact that Revis is clearly heads above them in terms of talent and production. Should Revis holdout, he’d put the Jets in a pretty difficult spot, but there’s still a chance that he honors his contract and reports.
