Jets Place OT Chuma Edoga & WR Jeff Smith On Injured Reserve

The New York Jets announced Tuesday that they’ve placed OT Chuma Edoga and WR Jeff Smith on injured reserve.

The Jets also signed WR Keon Hatcher to the practice squad and released C Ryan Crozier from the unit.

Edoga, 24, was selected in the third round of this year’s NFL draft. He later signed a four-year, $3.4 million contract with the Jets that includes an $867,000 signing bonus.

In 2019, Edoga appeared in eight games for the Jets and made eight starts for the team.
