Jets WR Quincy Enunwa & S Marcus Maye Expected To Miss 3-4 Weeks

Manish Mehta reports that Jets S Marcus Maye is expected to miss 3-4 weeks with a broken thumb. Maye had a cast on his hand after the game.

Meanwhile, Ian Rapoport reports that an MRI revealed that WR Quincy Enunwa has a high-ankle sprain and will miss 3-4 weeks.

Enunwa, 26, is a former sixth-round pick of the Jets back in 2014. He played out the final year of his three-year, $1.995 million and made a base salary of $615,000 for the 2017 season before returning to the Jets on a one-year restricted deal worth $2.914 million.

Enunwa will be an unrestricted free agent in 2019.

In 2018, Enunwa has appeared in six games for the Jets and caught 22 passes for 287 yards receiving and one touchdown.

Maye, 25, is a former second-round pick of the Jets back in 2017. He’s currently in the second year of his four-year, $6.554 million contract that included $4.134 million guaranteed.

In 2018, Maye has appeared in three games for the Jets and recorded 20 tackles, a half sack, an interception, a forced fumble and a pass defense.
