According to Teri Figueroa of the Union-Tribune, the charges against former NFL TE Kellen Winslow II that led to his arrest on Thursday center around five alleged offenses that date back to March of this year.
The Union-Tribune obtained the complaint against Winslow II which shows Winslow II allegedly targeted elderly women. He’s reportedly facing the following charges:
- Kidnap, rape and forced oral copulation of a 54-year-old woman in March
- Kidnap, rape and sodomy of a 59-year-old woman in May
- Indecent exposure in May
- Burglary with the intent to rape a 71-year-old woman in June
- Burglary with the intent to rape an 86-year-old woman also in June
Last week, Winslow was arrested for felony burglary after he was accused of breaking into a home in a mobile home park in the San Diego area.
Winslow was taken into custody Thursday afternoon and an arraignment is anticipated for Friday, June 15.
Winslow, 34, is a former first-round pick of the Browns back in 2004. He spent four years in Cleveland before he was traded to the Buccaneers for the 2009 season.
After another four years in Tampa Bay, Winslow was once again traded, this time to the Seahawks. He had a brief stint with the Patriots in 2012 before signing a one-year deal with the Jets a year later.
For his career, Winslow Jr caught 469 passes for 5,236 yards receiving and 25 touchdowns over the course of 105 games played.
