Cowboys soon to be free agent WR Laurent Robinson told reporters that he would like to return to Dallas next season, via Fort Worth Star-Telegram.
“I think I fit in good here,” said Robinson. “… This is where I want to be. It doesn’t matter if I’m the No. 1, 2 or 3. I feel like I have a good fit here.”
Robinson was arguably their best receiver during the later portion of the season and wound up finishing the season with a ridiculous 11 touchdowns. Yes he was filling for an injury Miles Austin but his production was unbelievable for a player whom they grabbed off of the waiver wire.
There should be plenty of interest in Robinson during the offseason as he’s still only 26 years old. Dallas may want to keep him but it could be hard depending on the amount of interest in him.
