Russell Bodine

Bodine is now the third Lions player to elect to sit out the upcoming season. The full list includes:

  1. DT John Atkins
  2. WR Geronimo Allison
  3. OL Russell Bodine

Bodine, 28, is a former fourth-round pick of the Bengals back in 2014. He played out the final year of his four-year, $2,676,456 contract before agreeing to a two-year contract with the Bills last year.

The Patriots traded a sixth-round pick to the Bills for Bodine coming out of the preseason. However, he lasted just a week in New England before being released.

The Lions signed Bodien to a futures contract after the season.

In 2018, Bodine appeared in 10 games for the Bills, making 10 starts before being placed on injured reserve.
