The Detroit Lions announced that they have promoted TE Isaac Nauta from their practice squad to the active roster and signed OT Dan Skipper to their taxi squad.

The Lions’ practice squad now consists of:
- OT Matt Nelson
- LB Jason Cabinda
- WR Chris Lacy
- WR Travis Fulgham
- DE Jonathan Wynn
- WR Tom Kennedy
- RB Wes Hills
- LB Anthony Pittman
- P Matt Wile
- OT Dan Skipper
Nauta, 22, was drafted by the Lions in the seventh round of the 2019 NFL Draft out of Georgia. He signed a four-year, $2.6 million rookie contract but was waived coming out of the preseason.
The Lions signed him to their practice squad once he passed through waivers unclaimed and renegotiated his contract to a practice squad deal.
During his college career, Nauta recorded 68 receptions for 905 yards receiving (13.3 YPC) and eight touchdowns, to go along with 31 rushing yards and one touchdown.
