Lions Releasing CB Nevin Lawson

According to, releasing Lawson will free up $4,675,000 of available cap space while creating $1,125,000 in dead money.

In 2018, Lawson appeared in 15 games for the Lions and recorded 53 tackles, one sack, no interceptions and five pass defenses. Pro Football Focus has him rated as the No. 91 cornerback out of 112 qualifying players.
