Rand Getlin is reporting that the Lions are signing former Patriots WR Aaron Dobson to a cotnract after bringing him in for a workout on Tuesday.

Dobson found interest for a number of teams since being released by the Patriots including the Saints, Chargers, Jets, 49ers and Eagles.
Dobson, 25, is a former second-round pick of the Patriots back in 2013. He was in the final year of his four-year, $3.428 million rookie contract that included $1.173 million guaranteed and set to make a base salary of $872,505 in 2016 when he was waived by the Patriots a few weeks ago.
In 2015, Dobson appeared in eight games and caught 13 passes for 141 yards receiving and no touchdowns.
