Maurice Jones-Drew Ends Holdout

NFL Insider Adam Schefter reports that RB Maurice Jones-Drew is set to end his holdout and return to Jaguars training camp today.

After 38 days of not reporting and speculation of a possible trade, Jones-Drew finally showed up at the team’s facilities to resume training. He could be fined close to $1.2 million by the team, if the choose to go that route.  It is worth nothing that players receive their paychecks this week, so this probably had some barring on Jones-Drew’s decision.

With just a week to go until the season kicks off, Jones-Drew will need to get up to speed after a month of no activity. Rashad Jennings will carry most of the load for the time being and ix expected to be the starter for the season opener against the Vikings.
