The Baltimore Ravens have used Willis McGahee in mostly goal line situations this season but he was nowhere to be found this Sunday against the Patriots.
With McGahee not getting even a single carry, speculation began running rampant last night that a trade could be in the works. This isn’t anything new, even if he was given twenty carries yesterday his name still would have been mentioned as a possible trade candidate.
McGahee has been rumored to be an option for the Green Bay Packers as well as the Washington Redskins and the New Orleans Saints. All three teams are in need of depth at the running back position.
Since Marshawn Lynch was traded for a fourth-round pick it would make sense that McGahee would require a fifth-round pick which is a low enough cost to justify a trade.
