Tony Pauline of DraftInsider.net ha spoken to executives around the league who believe Nevada OL Joel Bitonio is in play for the Chargers and Panthers in round one.
- Pauline had previously mentioned that Bitonio could be a fit for the Panthers at No. 28 overall.
The Dolphins are known to be trying to move out of their No. 19 overall pick and Pauline suggests a scenario where the Panthers could move up for a receiver with Miami.
Pauline specifically mentions that the Panthers would likely target Brandin Cooks or Marquise Lee in they were to trade up.
Assuming Bitonio remains on the board after No. 28 overall, Pauline believes the Seahawks could close out the round by selecting him.
Thereโs admittedly a lot going in these scenarios, but the idea of Bitonio sneaking into round one has been gaining traction in recent weeks.
San Diego could really go in a number of ways at No. 25 overall, depending what cornerbacks are available to them.
Iโm sure the Panthers would love to come away with an offensive line as itโs a huge need for them. Virginiaโs Morgan Moses could also be a name to watch.
For what itโs worth, we have the Panthers taking Bitonio at the end of round in our most recent 2014 NFL Mock Draft.
