Cowboys
- According to Yahoo Sports’ Charles Robinson, the market for Cowboys CB Byron Jones is expected to start at $16-$17 million per year, with the potential to rise higher.
- Robinson adds that Cowboys WR Amari Cooper might not have a raging market in free agency because of how deep teams think the rookie receiver class is. His best offer might be in Dallas, though it just would take one other team to create a bidding war.
- The Athletic’s Jon Machota writes there still hasn’t been much movement between the Cowboys and TE Jason Witten. The longtime veteran wants to play but Dallas also has RFA TE Blake Jarwin ready to step into a larger role.
- If Witten leaves, Machota believes the Cowboys will either draft a tight end in the late rounds or sign a low-cost veteran to round out the roster.
- Cowboys WR Ventell Bryant was arrested on a misdemeanor DUI charge in his hometown of Tampa early Wednesday morning. (Auman)
Eagles
- NJ.com’s Mike Kaye mentions former Browns LB Christian Kirksey as a potential free-agent target for the Eagles to bolster the position.
Giants
- NJ.com’s Matt Lombardo mentions Bears LB Nick Kwiatkoski as a potential free-agent target for the Giants.
Redskins
- Sports Illustrated’s Albert Breer writes he had a Redskins source say the team is making sure it won’t regret passing on Alabama QB Tua Tagovailoa with the No. 2 pick: โWe have to make sure weโre not passing on Michael Jordan.โ
