REALLY!!!!! OBJ is out for the season closer. That was a no-brainer! According to sources this was the GMEN exit season for good ole’ #13. Rumor has it that OBJ and all his DRAMA is headed to the Brownies this 2019 offseason, in exchange for the Brownies’ 2019 1st and 3rd round picks plus the rights to WR Antonio Callaway. The Brownies were going to pull the trade for OBJ this offseason. But new GM John Dorsey wanted to get his future QB first, which everyone knows is Baker Mayfield. Dorsey not only “nailed it” with Mayfield, he also got it right with CB Ward and RB Chubb. Dorsey’s focus will be on the offensive line this offseason. Mayfield, Beckham, Landry, Higgins, Chubb and Njoku will be lighting it up for a long while in Cleveland.
As for the GMEN! The trade will free up much needed salary cap space. The receiving corps. will most likely consist of Shepard, Callaway, Coleman Fowler, Shepard and Russell. The TE situation will have Ellison back in blue next year. But! Rumor has it as well that Evan Engram will be out via trade as well. Supposedly, the GMEN Brass want a dual ( blocking ability a major point sticker) TE with Ellison next year. The draft picks acquired will help bolster both sides of the line of scrimmage.
