NFC East Notes: Cowboys, Eagles, Giants, Redskins

Cowboys

  • Cowboys DL Tyrone Crawford (hip) said he expects to play on Sunday, but the plan is for him to be monitored throughout the game: “Yeah they’re definitely going to monitor me. Our trainers are going to do what they do best and make sure I don’t try and do what I like to do and go out there and over do it and bring myself back to where I was.” (Calvin Watkins)
  • The Dallas Cowboys officially ruled out T Tyron Smith (ankle) for Week 5 and list T La’el Collins (back), DE Tyrone Crawford (hip), WR Michael Gallup (knee), and DT Antwaun Woods (knee) as questionable.

Eagles

Giants

  • Jay Glazer writes that if a winning team were to lose a quarterback, he would not be surprised to see Eli Manning get traded.
  • Glazer admits that he doesn’t know whether Manning would actually waive his no-trade clause to facilitate a deal, but he believes Eli is “still very serviceable.”
  • The New York Giants officially ruled out RB Saquon Barkley (ankle), LB Tae Davis (concussion), and LB Alec Ogletree (hamstring) for Week 5 and list LB Lorenzo Carter (neck) as questionable.
