Cowboys
- According to the Athletic’s Connor Hughes, the Cowboys were the other team interested in former Jets DL Leonard Williams, but backed out after acquiring DT Michael Bennett from the Patriots.
Eagles
ESPN’s Chris Mortensen reported Monday that the Eagles are looking to trade for Lions CB Darius Slay.
“They’re taking a shot at Darius Slay of the Lions, but the price tag on Slay is very, very high,” Mortensen said, via SI.com.
- According to Adam Caplan, the Eagles had been trying to acquire DE Genard Avery from the Browns for a while and beat out a few other teams for him.
- Per the Philadelphia Inquirer’s Jeff McLane, Eagles HC Doug Pederson said WR DeSean Jackson (abdomen) would start to be incorporated back into practice this week and the team will see how he responds.
- Eagles second-round rookie RB Miles Sanders said the X-rays on his shoulder came back “fine.” (Mike Garafolo)

Giants
Giants CB Janoris Jenkins‘ name has come up as a potential option for the team to move before Tuesday afternoon’s trade deadline given his age, salary and uneven performance so far in 2019. However, Jenkins says his mind will be occupied Tuesday with other thoughts besides where he’ll be playing.
โTuesday is my birthday,โ Jenkins said, via Ryan Dunleavy of the New York Post. โI donโt give a fโ- what they do. You feel me? Iโm just coming to play football like I do every week. Whatever happens, it happens.โ
- Giants HC Pat Shurmur deflected questions about if the team was shopping Jenkins: “I guess heโs rumored to be moved all the time. I donโt know of any conversations to do that.” (Ralph Vacchiano)

Redskins
- Per ESPN’s John Keim, Redskins interim HC Bill Callahan said QB Case Keenum was still in the concussion protocol.
- NBC Sports’ JP Finlay says he’s been told LB Ryan Kerrigan is not on the trade block for the Redskins.
- CBS Sports’ Jason La Canfora says, however, he gets the sense the Redskins would listen to offers for Kerrigan and others, such as CB Josh Norman, though that deal would be more of a salary dump.
