NFC North Notes: Lions, Packers, Vikings

Lions

  • NFL Media’s Ian Rapoport notes no teams beyond the Lions have reached out to Ohio State DE Chase Young, indicating most don’t think he’ll be available beyond then.
  • The Athletic’s Daniel Popper explains the Lions likely wouldn’t have much interest in a trade down with the Chargers from No. 3 to No. 6 built around CB Desmond King, as they already have a strong nickel corner in Justin Coleman.
  • Lions WR Geronimo Allison‘s one-year deal includes a $910,000 base salary, $137,500 signing bonus and counts for $887,500 against the cap under the veteran salary benefit. (Michael Rothstein)
  • Rothstein adds Allison isn’t a lock to make the Lions’ final roster.
  • Lions LB Reggie Ragland received a $137,500 signing bonus and his deal will qualify for the veteran salary benefit. (Field Yates)

Packers

Vikings

  • Vikings G Dakota Dozier‘s one-year deal includes a $90,000 signing bonus, $910,000 base salary and will count $840,000 against the cap under the veteran salary benefit. (Ben Goessling)
