NFC Notes: 49ers, Buccaneers, Cowboys, Seahawks

49ers

Buccaneers

Cowboys

Cowboys executive Stephen Jones said that no trades are imminent and another deal is โ€œprobably a long shotโ€ after they acquired Amari Cooperย earlier in the week.

Weโ€™ve got to be careful in terms of giving up any more picks,โ€ said Jones, via Jon Machota of the Dallas Morning News.

Seahawks

Regarding Seahawks TE Ed Dickson returning from the non-football injury list, HC Pete Carroll said they plan to be “careful” with Dickson after dealing with multiple soft-tissue injuries.

โ€œWeโ€™re going to be careful,โ€ Carroll said, via the team’s official site. โ€œHe has worked really hard to get back and heโ€™s been probably much more so than a regular guy coming off of rehab because heโ€™s had time to do that so heโ€™s ahead of what most guys would be, conditioning-wise. Weโ€™re going to monitor as we go. Weโ€™ve got a thought in mind but weโ€™re looking for him to be involved. Weโ€™ll just see how he handles it during the game.โ€

  • Bob Condotta of the Seattle Timesย mentions that Seahawks RB J.D. McKissic (foot) is “probably” 2-3 weeks away from returning, as Seattle doesย not feel they need to rush him back given the success of their running backs.
