The Athletic’s Adam Jahns points out that Bears OLB Khalil Mack‘s 6.5 sacks in 2020 is not the kind of production Chicago expected when it made the massive move to trade two first-round picks for Mack and sign him to a record-setting deal.
Jahns adds 2021 is the final year of Mack’s contract that includes any guaranteed money.

NFL Media’s Michael Silver says he was told by Lions WR Marvin Jones that “I’m not gonna lie, it’s been a while” since he’d had as much fun playing football as he did in Sunday’s 34-30 comeback win over the Bears.
Jones spoke pretty bluntly about the difference in the environment around the team following the departure of HC Matt Patricia: “It’s a different feel, there’s no way around it.”
