- According to Matt Verderame of Fansided, one team worth keeping an eye on for free agent RB Le’Veon Bell is the Chicago Bears.
- Verderame mentions that the Bears could clear $8 million of cap space by releasing TE Dion Sims and RB Jordan Howard in order to make a run at signing Bell.
After missing a few years due to concussion issues, Sam Shields returned to the NFL in 2018 and helped the Rams get to the Super Bowl.
Shields says he feels like himself again and wants to keep it going.
“Man, it’s a blessing. Just a dream — what I went through, getting to where I got to in the Super Bowl, just the whole season, what I accomplished — not giving up, going through the mental part of it, I beat all odds,” Shields said, via TheRams.com. “And I feel myself again. I feel like I want to keep going some more.”
