Eagles rookie QB Clayton Thorson says Nick Foles working his way up to being a Super MVP shows the value of being in Philadelphia’s system. 

It tells me a lot,” Thorson said of Foles’ success, via Philly.com. “It says a lot about that coaching staff and how they helped develop the guys who aren’t the starters. It also says a lot about Carson, too. I am sure it helped when Nick learned the offense: He was an older guy, as well. But it says a lot about the Eagles, and I am looking forward to stepping in there and getting some reps and learning from all those guys.

Lions

Vikings

  • Chris Tomasson reports that Vikings seventh-round LS Austin Cutting will sign an injury protection agreement before rookie minicamp and not his contract out of respect to the Air Force for eventually making a final decision on whether he can play in 2019.
  • Vikings signed second-round TE Irv Smith to a four-year deal. (NFLTR)
  • Vikings signed sixth-round DB Marcus Epps and OT Olisaemeka Udoh to four-year deals.
