NFC Notes: Falcons, Packers, Rams

Falcons

Falcons free agent G Andy Levitre mentioned during an interview with Sirius XM NFL Radio that he’s “pretty exciting” about being in position to test the free agent market. 

“Having that same injury the second time, I just want to ensure that my triceps is ready to go,” Levitre said. “Right now my focus is just going to rehab and getting back to one-hundred percent healthy.”

Packers

• Mike Silver of NFL Media wonders if the Packers could be a team to watch for some notable available players such as Antonio Brown, Le’Veon Bell and Ndamukong Suh. 
• Silver does, however, say that it’s more likely Green Bay will look for value this offseason and try to land multiple free agents. 
• Silver thinks the Packers would like to re-sign OLB Clay Matthews, but it’s “more
  likely than not” Randall Cobb will be gone. 
• Tom Silverstein of PackersNews.com takes a look at some Packers players who should either go or be retained for the 2019 season.
• The list of players Silverstein believes shouldn’t be back in Green Bay includes OLB Nick Perry, S Kentrell Brice, TE Jimmy Graham, OT Jason Spriggs, WR Randall Cobb, G Byron Bell, G Justin McCray and G Lucas Patrick.
• Silverstein thinks OLB Clay Matthews, DL Montravius Adams, DL Fadol Brown, S Ibraheim Campbell, ILB Antonio Morrison, and CB Bashaud Breeland should all be brought back. 

Rams

• Peter King expects DT Ndamukong Suh and S Lamarcus Joyner to depart in free agency with DE/OLB Dante Fowler also being a potential candidate to move on. 
• According to King, Rams LT Andrew Whitworth plans to meet with the team about his future after the Combine.
• On Monday, the Rams officially announced additions of assistants Wes Phillips (tight ends), Eric Henderson (defensive line) and Zac Robinson (assistant quarterbacks).
