ESPN’s Michael Smith reports that the Oakland Raiders will in fact hire Hue Jackson to be their next head coach. The move comes as little to surprise considering that he was the clear favorite since Al Davis made the decision to release Tom Cable.
ESPN’s Adam Schefter reports that Al Saunders is likely to take over as the teams offensive coordinator.
We’ll have to see if these changes translate in the team making the playoffs for the first time in a good while.
