Bengals

Bengals OC Hue Jackson mentioned that and Andy Dalton will be their starting quarterback next year and they have no plans to draft another quarterback.

“He’s our guy and we’re not going to shy away from that,” Jackson said, via Geoff Hobson of Bengals.com. “He was better with the intangibles this year and the ball was better coming out of his hand. You could see that right away when he came back from the last offseason.”

As for fifth-round pick A.J. McCarron, Jackson said he is basically a blank slate right now.

All you know about him is what you know from college and that’s really good,” Jackson says. “He’s healthy. We’ll learn more about him as we go.”

Bills

  • Bills signed CB Jonte Green and G Darryl Johnson to reserve/future contracts.

Giants

  • Giants announced the hiring of Tim Walton as cornerbacks coach.

Steelers

  • Steelers signed T Mitchell Van Dyk to a future/reserve contract. (Howard Balzer)
