NFL Notes: Adam Gase, Dan Quinn, Bills, Bengals, Raiders & Redskins

 

Adam Gase

• Broncos OC Adam Gase is scheduled to interview on Friday on Saturday with the 49ers, Bears, and Falcons. (via Adam Schefter) 

Dan Quinn

• Seahawks DC Dan Quinn interviewed for the 49ers Head Coach position Tuesday night, and will interview for the same job with the Bears and Jets on Friday, and the Falcons on saturday. (Albert Breer)

Bills

• A source said that HC Doug Marrone is looking for more stability in his coaching staff.  Most assistants are only signed through 2015, though DC Jim Schwartz’s contract extends beyond that. (Adam Caplan)
• According to a source, as of Wednesday morning, Bills coaches still do not know whether HC Doug Marrone will opt out of his contract. (via Adam Caplan)

Bengals

• WR A.J. Green is still under the league’s concussion protocol Wednesday. (Paul Dehner)

Raiders

• Three names that interest the Raiders organization for their vacant Team President position are Russ Brandon (BUF), Kevin Warren (MIN), and Mike Holmgren. (Jason La Canfora)
• La Canfora adds that Russ Brandon’s ability to increase revenue in a small market such as Buffalo would likely appeal to Mark Davis. (Jason La Canfora)

Redskins

• After parting ways with DC Jim Haslett, it is worth noting that Redskins HC Jay Gruden tried to hire Bengals DC Paul Guenther last year to be the linebackers/assistant head coach. (Adam Caplan)
