Bears

• The Chicago Bears announced that DL Mitch Unrein and DB Deiondre’ Hall did not travel with the team and are out for Sunday’s game against the Buccaneers. (Zach Zaidman)

Cardinals

• Josh Weinfuss of ESPN writes that Cardinals WR J.J. Nelson will continue as the team’s No. 2 receiver behind Larry Fitzgerald.

Cowboys

• Ed Werder reports that the Cowboys believes Tony Romo needs first-team reps in order to play but he took none this week. Werder adds that Romo is unlikely to be active for tomorrow’s game.

Jaguars

• Pro Football Talk reports that Jaguars WR Allen Hurns (concussion) currently is expected to play on Sunday.

Steelers

• Tom Pelissero reports that Steelers TE Ladarius Green (ankle) said his explosiveness is “not 100% yet, but it’s close,” and that he still rebuilding the strength in his calf.
• According to Pelissero, Green revealed that he had screws and plates placed in his ankle to tighten the bone back together, while also dealing with cartilage damage in the area.
