NFL Notes: Bengals, Colts, Dolphins, Jaguars & Ravens

Bengals

• Cincinnati is expected to pursue offensive tackles this offseason with OT Marshall Newhouse‘s contract expiring. (Coley Harvey)
• RB Giovani Bernard participated in each of the Bengals’ practices this week, but is still not expected to play in Week 11. (Coley Harvey)

Colts

• RG Hugh Thornton is expected to return to the starting lineup after being benched due to missing team meetings. (Mike Wells)
• Mike Wells of ESPN “would be shocked” if SS LaRon Landry is not released this offseason, despite being under contract through 2016.

Dolphins

• Dolphins have yet to initiate extension negotiations with QB Ryan Tannehill. (James Walker)
• HC Joe Philbin “appears confident” in Dallas Thomas‘ ability to handle right tackle job. (James Walker)
• Walker does not expect RB Knowshon Moreno to be back with the Dolphins next year.

Jaguars

• Michael DiRocco of ESPN expects the Jaguars to pursue a pass-rusher, linebacker, offensive line and a safety in free agency and next year’s NFL Draft.
• WR Cecil Shorts III is believed to be out of the Jaguars price range and is likely to test the free agent market, according to DiRocco.

Ravens

• Jamison Hensley of ESPN believes the Ravens could waive RB Bernard Pierce and re-sign RB Justin Forsett nest year.
• DC Dean Pees’ position among the Ravens coaching staff is not believed to be at risk. (Jamison Hensley)
• Hensley mentions that G Jah Reid is a likely candidate to be placed on the injured reserved list.
• Hensley does not expect Reid to be on the roster much longer.
