NFL Notes: Bills, Cardinals, Cowboys, Jets, & Raiders

Bills

• Despite some reports that the Bills could make an attempt to move up for MSU QB Connor Cook, sources tell Tim Graham that Buffalo is “uninterested” in trading up for Cook.

Cardinals

• Cardinals HC Bruce Arians said that they could still sign another veteran cornerback, but added that he don’t think they need one. (Darran Urban)

Cowboys

• Ian Rapoport of NFL Media reports Cowboys LB Sean Lee underwent a “clean-up scope” on his knee this week.
• According to Rapoport, Lee is facing a two-week recovery period.
• Cowboys owner Jerry Jones told reporters that while they’ve yet to draft a defensive end, they won’t sign either Jason Jones or Jeremy Mincey. (Brandon George)

Jets

• Jets HC Todd Bowles told reporters on Friday that Geno Smith will open OTAs as the their starting quarterback. (Manish Mehta)
• However, Bowles did say that they’re still working to re-sign free agent QB Ryan Fitzpatrick. (Manish Mehta)

Raiders

• Jerry McDonald mentions that the Raiders big target on Saturday will likely be a running back.
