NFL Notes: Bills, Packers, Ravens, Titans, & Vikings

 

Bills

• The Bills have been working on two different styles of offense. One is an up-tempo, shotgun-style offense that makes use of players with a lot of speed while the other is a more physical unit. (Mike Rodak)
• First-round pick WR Sammy Watkins continues to look like a star in training camp. (Mike Rodak)

Packers

• The Packers have been alternating second-team snaps between Scott Tolzien and Matt Flynn. (Rob Demovsky)
• Rookie WRs Davante Adams and Jared Abbrederis both made some decent plays on Sunday. (Rob Demovsky)
• Second-year DB Micah Hyde continues to work ahead of first round-pick Ha Ha Clinton-Dix. (Rob Demovsky)
• TE Brandon Bostick is reportedly “off to a strong start.” (Rob Demovsky)
• As of now, Green Bay’s top-four safeties appear to be: Micah Hyde, Morgan Burnett, Ha Ha Clinton-Dix and Chris Banjo. (Rob Demovsky)

Ravens

• OLB Terrell Suggs “dominated” Sunday’s practice. (Jamison Hensley)
• G Marshal Yanda has been “the best offensive lineman” in Ravens’ camp thus far.
• Ravens tried out former San Jose State CB Brandon Driver on Sunday, but he has yet sign a contract. (Aaron Wilson)

Titans

• New DC Ray Horton has placed an emphasis on preventing deep completions. (Paul Kuharsky)
• Coty Sensabaugh and Blidi Wreh-Wilson have been alternating as the second starting cornerback. (Paul Kuharsky)
• Jackie Battle looks like the favorite to win the starting fullback job. (Paul Kuharsky)

Vikings

• Chad Greenway saw some snaps at middle linebacker and there is a chance that he could end up with the job. (Ben Goessling)
