NFL Notes: Broncos, Buccaneers, Cardinals, & Cowboys

Broncos

  • Mike Klis of 9News considers undrafted rookies DT Kyle Peko, TE Henry Krieger, WR/KR Bralon Addison, OT Lars Hanson and WR/KR Kalif Raymond to have the shot at securing a spot on the Broncos’ 53-man roster this summer.

Buccaneers

  • The Buccaneers signed sixth-round FB Dan Vitale to a four-year contract. (Jason Licht)

Cardinals

  • Cardinals HC Bruce Arians said of first-round DL Robert Nkemdiche: “He was killing people in walk through. I had to slow him down. It’s a walk through, and he bench-pressed a lineman already.” (Mike Jurecki)

Cowboys

Cowboys first-round pick RB Ezekiel Elliott gave the team a scare on Friday during rookie minicamp.

Elliott had a “scary” slip during one of the Cowboys’ drills. However, he was still able to finish the practice, but was told slow things down.

“We don’€™t need that,” Cowboys RBs coach Gary Brown said of Elliott’s slip, via ESPN.com. “That’s why I told him to slow down a little bit.

Ravens

  • Ravens HC John Harbaugh mentions that CB Jimmy Smith‘s recent foot surgery went well. (Jeff Zrebiec)
  • During his tryout for the Ravens, Michigan State FB Trevon Pendleton unfortunately suffered a broken foot. (Jeff Zrebiec)
