NFL Notes: Buccaneers, Chiefs, Jets, Ravens & Steelers

Buccaneers

• Greg Auman reports that the Buccaneers have practice squad WR Freddie Martino traveling with the team to San Francisco in case they need to promote him for Sunday’s game.
• The Buccaneers ruled out RB Doug Martin, DL Clinton McDonald and DE Robert Ayers for Sunday’s game. (Roy Cummings)

Chiefs

• Chiefs RB Jamaal Charles and CB Phillip Gaines are both questionable for Sunday’s game. (BJ Kissel)
• Charles had some knee swelling in his knee, which led to him putting in a limited practice on Friday. However, HC Andy Reid said that they “think everything will be alright.” (BJ Kissel)

Jets

• Rich Cimini mentions that Jets DE Muhammad Wilkerson (questionable, ankle) appears to be in danger of missing Week 7’s game.
• The Jets ruled out TE Austin Seferian-Jenkins (ankle), rookie LB Darron Lee (ankle) and OT Brent Qvale (stinger)for Week 7’s game. (Ralph Vacchiano)

Ravens

• Jeff Zribiec expects the Ravens to promote a few players to their active roster ahead of Sunday’s game with CBs Asa Jackson and Robertson Daniel being two potential options.

Steelers

• The Steelers ruled out five starters Sunday’s game against the Patriots including OT Marcus Gilbert, DE  Cameron Heyward, QB Ben Roethlisberger, WR Markus Wheaton, and RB DeAngelo Williams. (Mark Kaboly)
