Dan Graziano of ESPN writes that he “wouldn’t be surprised to see the Giants check in on free-agent defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh” next year, but he ultimately believes the price will be too high.
- The Giants are likely to consider re-signing TE Daniel Fells, but probably at their price, according to Graziano.
Panthers
- David Newton expects the Panthers to target a wide receiver at some point in next year’s draft.
- Newton mentions that the possibility exists that they could use their first-round pick on the position, but it’s probably more likely that they would take an offensive tackle.
- However, the exception to this could be if Alabama WR Amari Cooper was available to them.
Saints
- Mike Triplett of ESPN mentions that DT Brodrick Bunkley, LB David Hawthorne and WR Marques Colston could be cap casualties next year.
- Triplett adds guards Ben Grubbs and Jahri Evans to the list of players who could be cut in order to free up some cap space.
Vikings
- Ben Goessling expects P Jeff Locke to be back next season, but he’ll likely have competition.
- Goessling believes linebacker should be at the top of the of Vikings list when it comes to draft needs.
- Other potential draft targets for Minnesota could include a versatile safety, another big cornerback, offensive line help and possibly another running back.
